Single level tests overview

This is where you can find all the information your school or local authority needs to prepare for and administer the single level tests.
Single level tests are part of the Making Good Progress pilot which is trialling ways to improve pupils' progress throughout key stage 2. Single level tests are available for pupils in key stage 2 in English reading, English writing and mathematics at levels 3 to 6.
In this section you can find a detailed explanation of the background and purpose as well as a step by step guide to the administration process.
